The Chiswick High Road was known to be a place of ill repute and frequented by criminals of a certain class. , Shirley Dominique, Dean Tod Thomas, Barry Nedds, Lionel Maxwell Tannenbaum, were those criminals of a certain class, the footpads of West London in the 18^th century.  On the constant look out for anyone carrying a Ponzi the group, Shirley Dominique, Dean Tod Thomas, Barry Nedds, Lionel Maxwell Tannenbaum, would strike with out warning and make off with the Ponzi before the alarm could be raised.
